The staff is what makes your stay here worth it. Nishanth is an amazing manager, always helpful, polite and ready to fix/sort any issue. He genuinely leads from the front and all staff at all hiltons staff should aspire to have nishanths work ethic and customer drive he does.

Booked for my daughters birthday for her a 4 others. I asked for connecting rooms if possible as her birthday. They provided connecting rooms and added a nice touch of a birthday cake and balloons with a card. Absolutely lovely surprise for her. Brilliant service. They enjoyed the jacuzzi and pool and sauna. No complaints at all. Was a nice little treat and night away for her. The rooms were gorgeous and she felt spoilt so thankyou for a great service. Many thanks

A good stay overall, room was in good condition. Wifi would not connect in room 434. Pool area could be imporved, small and old, Steam room has cracks on ceiling.

Staff was friendly, food is great, lovely little lake near by to go for a walk. Only slight gripes are the restaurant being shut for the new year period and the rooms aircon not really helping to cool the room down.

We had a disappointing stay at the hotel which was influenced by a number of factors. I was staying with my family in 2 rooms with 2 adult children and my wife between Christmas and new year. The hotel was very noisy and the occupants connecting room were shouting loudly from 10pm - 12am when we contacted reception in person to request action. (Our room phone was not working so I had to get dressed to walk to the reception) A bedside table light was also broken in the room, which I reported to reception. In the fitness centre when I used it, the wattbike I was using ran out of battery after 18 minutes and lost the data and activity that I had completed up until that point. The staff were very disinterested in helping when I tried to find a working adapter or recover my ride to date. In addition when I asked for a printed invoice for our stay to check charges we were only provided with one receipt at the time. I later found from the 2nd invoice that was only emailed that we had been double charged for breakfast as the charge for 4 people appeared on my room as well as a charge for 2 on the other room. This required me to call customer services and request a refund while visiting another family member meaning I had less time to spend and be present with them during our precious visit with them. This was highly irregular especially as without my vigilance we would have been overcharged £37 due to lack of staff attention which is not what I expect from a Hilton hotel. Overall I have been very disappointed with my first trip to a Hilton with my family (I had started using occasionally for work this year) Sadly at no point was any compensation or customer service discretion used to recompense our poor experience although I gave staff the opportunity at all points without directly asking for it as I do not feel customer service should be demanded but volunteered at the type of hotel that Hilton aspires to be.

Lovely property, reminded us of an American style Hilton in the size and layout of it. We had room 340 at the rear of the property. Large room, blackout curtains, modern shower, in large bathroom. Kettle, with tea and coffee, plus a refrigerator. Parking is just £9 per night, just park up and register at reception with the amount of nights you are staying. Staff courteous and professional. Will stay here again, as it's a first class hotel

This hotel charged me twice for parking. I have been fighting for my refund for more than 2 weeks now. The hotel have shown no remorse and have not even apologised. I have sent in my receipts that show these extra charges and also bank statements. They are now not responding to any communication. Not only have they not responded to my emails, nobody ever calls me back. As a result I will be making a formal report.

Stayed here twice now. On each occasion the rooms have been clean and well presented, the staff are really friendly and the service is good. My personal opinion is that the drinks in the bar area are a bit pricey, but me being from the north says it all. The food is pretty decent too, better than most hotels I’ve stayed in. The cookie on arrival is a nice touch, and the hotel facilities are abundant. This is certainly my choice of hotel for future business trips in the area.

I am writing this review only based on service I have received, that alone is the reason I am extremely happy with everything. The three members of staff I would like to point out to are Evie, Clair and Georgia. Thank you so much for your brilliant way of handling everything I needed. I will definitely be recommending people to stay here only because of these girls. Hilton are extremely lucky to have such caring, attentive and amazing staff.

We spent 10 nights at the hotel after about 5 years since our last visit from the USA. The hotel standard remains high but things got a little more expensive. Hotel facilities were functional except for our overhead shower that didn’t work, also the room fridge did not work. Hotel staff promised to fix the fridge or replace it but this was never done through out our stay, which made foodstuffs in the fridge go bad. Finally, the hotel unbelievably had only one luggage cart for guests checking in and out, this made my departure most difficult since my wife and I had 5 suitcases and 2 carry on. All said, I will still use Doubletree Hilton Dartford again and will still recommend it to friends and family. One more thing I don’t understand in UK hotels is Why don’t they have Microwave Ovens in the rooms? This is a standard in almost all American hotels! This should be considered for some classes of rooms if not all.

The hotel was 10/10, everything was perfect. Very clean and very nice. The employees were all very, very nice and always helped us when we didn't know something. We had a hard time with the plug and the hairdryer, but Mrs. DORINA was such a lovely person and always helped us. Thanks.❤️ Internet, hairdryer, towel, everything is very practical there. Would recommend it to everyone

Unfortunately whilst the room was nice clean and comfortable, the welcome and reception was pleasant and check in easy, even car parking ok, unfortunately you've ruined all of that with an astonishingly brazen and completely disgusting 12.5% service charge on already inflated bar food prices that was attempted to be charged BEFORE YOUD EVEN SERVED THE FOOD!!! Are you serious? No direct tip to bar staff either just an outrageous profiteering rip off of your customers. By all means stay int he hotel but don't ever eat here. (food was actually pretty poor too anyway but £18 for a salad before their ridiculous "service" charge . . . pull the other one

This hotel always disappoints every time I have visited. Went here one time in the summer and the staff clearly have no clue what they are doing. My family and I were misinformed so many times. Firstly, upon check- in they failed to mention that we had to book the pool since it was busy. So we had prepared ourselves to go down there just to be told by staff that we can’t go in as it is full. We asked what time we would be able to go they had no clue which was very disappointing and very unprofessional. It would have been nice to know how long we would be waiting for instead we went back to the room clueless. Secondly, due to it being busy for dinner we were told that we could book a table. The bar staff who we booked with had no idea what we were talking about and just wrote details on a piece of paper. Once it came to dinner time the waiter staff didn’t ave any idea what we were talking about again and just stood there confused. They were no help at all, we had to find somewhere to sit ourselves not to mention the table was dirty also and took them 20 minutes to clean it. The food was also presented in a unpresentable manner I would expect this from a 2 star hotel not a “4 star” Hilton hotel. I was very let down by that stay but we had decided to book again and not surprised that we were disappointed by this stay also. The swimming pool was closed for repairs which was not mentioned during booking confirmation. I feel something like that should be informed to customers before they book. Again the staff were no help and were so useless, only good thing about here is the breakfast. There is no way you get what you are paying for, the prices they charge are absolutely ridiculous for the service here, you are much better off going to premier inn. Way better standards from there and the breakfast is pretty much the same so save your money.

Stayed here for only one night. The room was lovely, bed was very comfortable and the shower was good. Ate in the pub area in the evening and the food was okay. Staff are very nice, I would definitely stay here again and recommend it. Alas no beachfront but did have a view of the Dartford Bridge which was great

Good standard, clean, modern and comfortable rooms. The hotel has plenty of on site parking. The Hilton Honours digital check-in failed so having gone straight to my room I was then forced to go and wait in the lobby and queue of people waiting for check-in. So not a great start for me, when it works it’s brilliant as I’ve used this in other Double Tree Hotels but when it doesn’t it’s isn’t half frustrating. The bar staff were friendly and professional as were the staff serving in the restaurant for breakfast. Breakfast was buffet style, the range was okay, certainly not the best but far from being poor. I’d say the same for the quality, nothing wrong with it and I’d say just above average. I’ve stayed in quite a few hotels within the Hilton Brand so I’m making my own comparisons here. I’d definitely recommend the hotel, the location was good for us based on the reason for us being in Dartford, it’s very close to the crossing so quite accessible. It’s expensive, but I think given the choices in the area, the location and standard of the hotel facilities it’s probably as you’d expect to pay. Didn’t use the gym or pool so I cannot comment on this.
